We will highlight Clark’s pioneering fieldwork, her early efforts to establish Cape Haze Marine Laboratory, and her enduring influence on the growth of Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium.
In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, this lecture also recognizes Dr. Clark as a pioneering Japanese American scientist and educator whose work continues to inspire new generations of shark researchers.
