The Florida Master Naturalist Program (FMNP) provides science-based training that helps ecotour operators deliver engaging, accurate tours while promoting conservation. FMNP certification can:
- Enhance credibility for guides and operators
- Attract eco-conscious travelers
- Support sustainable tourism practices
- Strengthen connections to Florida’s diverse ecosystems
About the Presenter
This webinar will be led by Kate Rose, UF/IFAS Florida Sea Grant Extension Agent in Charlotte County. Kate has been connected to Florida’s waters since childhood, earning her SCUBA certification at age 10 in Key Largo. She holds both a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Florida’s School of Forestry, Fisheries & Geomatics Sciences. In her current role, she develops and delivers educational programs on estuarine ecology, citizen science, and environmental stewardship.
